A Narrative Process is the relationship between Processes (the activity orientation) and Participants (the nominal group orientation) Stenglin 2004, p. 467 where there is a presence of a Dynamic Vector. To achieve a narrative process within our design, we replaced a static gazebo into a caricature version of a gazebo with the presence of a dynamic vector. This caricature was achieved through making the roof of the gazebo appear as a "look-a-like" lady beetle (red and white) and by replacing the pillars that traditionally hold up the roof into a "tree trunk" look-a-like stump in the middle. In addition to this, we also replaced the horizontally levelled roof into a diagonal - our dynamic vector. Although the caricature themed gazebo with a dynamic vector achieved a more dynamic gazebo, we wanted this to be the only dynamic part of the park. The gazebo is the most salient part within our park, therefore we wanted this to be the only dynamic vector. This so as we want a balance of a narrative and conceptual process. We want to ensure that the narrative doesn't over whelm the imagined client where they can not acknowledge the natural attributes within the park.
