Separate to more action focused Narrative Process, Analytical and Classificational Processes are where participants are represented in a "more generalised and more or less stable timeless essence" Kress & Van Leeuwen, 2006, pg. 79). We decided to arrange the park benches in a covert classificational structure where the benches are symmetrically laid out and are equidistant from each other. This is so as we wanted to devalue any hierarchy within the park. This allows any visitor to be able to enjoy the semiotic elements within the park in an equal manner where no one will have better perception than another. Our park therefor is also arranged in an analytical structure where the visitor is able to admire its attributes. This with out covert classificational structure allows the visitor to freely "admire" the park without the notion of hierarchy where everyone is equal where they are separate from the corporate world.
