There are four main aspects to consider when analysing Interactive meaning, that is; power, involvement, distance and contact. It is said by Kress and van Leeuwen (2006: pg251) that "what towers over us, by design, has power over us". As the client approaches our park, they have a more equal degree of power as there are no elements "higher" than the client. This is unlike the foyer of a bulding for example where one would have complete view of the towering apartments above them. This allows the client to feel at ease and relaxed while they are in the park. In addition to this, the "involvement" is initially is "centrally involved" (Ravelli, 2008: pg25) with out Gazebo as the client is in "front on viewing" (Ravelli, 2008: pg25) when they first enter the park. This is so the client can quickly anticipate their goal, as explained in dynamic organisation. However once they enter the park the client experiences a "side on" (Ravelli, 2008: pg25) perspective caused by the various promenades the client can choose to take where the Gazebo becomes an "offer". This is so as we want the client to feel we are not enforcing an experience upon them. We want the client to feel they are in control of what experience they would like to have in our park.
